Lander Choral Festival

The 34th Lander Choral Festival has been cautiously postponed until February, 2022, due to possible risks of COVID-19 transmission during the festival. The exact date will be announced on this website when it becomes available. High school choral directors may contact Dr. Chuck Neufeld, cneufeld@lander.edu, to schedule choral clinics and visits to your school.

In February, 2022, the 34th Lander Choral Festival will feature outstanding High School Choir performances, adjudication, and clinics by expert choral conductors.

  • Each choir performs two pieces.
  • Great acoustics in the Josephine B. Abney Cultural Center Auditorium at Lander University.
  • Participating choirs remain in the auditorium to hear other performances and learn from clinic sessions.
  • Top clinicians.
  • 10:00 am-8:00 pm, February, 2022 (Date TBA).
  • Awards given at the end of the day.
  • A 33-year tradition that continues to grow!
  • Registration.
    • Early Registration fee is $60.00 (in January, 2022, Date TBA).
    • Late Registration is $90.00 (January, Date TBA, 2022).
